Light never remains the same.
A fixed camera captures the light on three locations.
On an desert island near Ireland the pure northern light. Light over a broadleaved forest in France where the trees bring in their own color. And warm, southern light on the courtyard of a monastery in the south of Italy.
These images are assembled to the 56 minutes duration of The Book of Light, that consists of a series of slide projections, linked to a soundtrack performed by two composers having a dialog.
This theatrical performance about the fascination for the mysterious phenomenon of light will be perceived as a film, with a very unique own rhythm and a much greater sharpness and quality of the pictures.
